Bebington Bitter Men

WIRRAL

The Bebington Bitter Men are the all-male off-shoot of Creative Community Choir, formed in 2014. Inspired by the Spooky Men’s Chorale, the Bebington Bitter Men explore the low-frequency soundworld of blokesong, ranging from swashbuckling shanties to tender love songs. The choir rehearses on a Wednesday evening and is currently open to new members.

Claire House Hospice Staff & Volunteers

WIRRAL

This is a workplace choir for staff and volunteers to have fun, unwind and sing away their stresses at the end of a working day. They have been rehearsing since spring 2018 and perform classic songs by Beach Boys, Bob Marley, Coldplay and more. The choir rehearses on a Wednesday afternoon and is currently open to new members.

Creative Community Choir

WIRRAL

The Creative Community Choir formed in Bebington, Wirral, was founded in 2011. It now has 80 members from across the local community and performs a variety of uplifting a cappella music from around the world including folk, gospel, African, Georgian and classic pop. The choir rehearses on a Wednesday evening and there is currently a waiting list for new members.

Holt Village Voices

Holt Village Voices formed in September 2016 and draws members from Holt, Farndon and beyond. The choir has a reputation for it’s energetic, uplifting performances which, according to one choir member, are performed ‘without any inhibition!’. The choir rehearses on a Monday evening and there are currently some limited places available.

Wrexham One Love Choir

NORTH WALES

Wrexham One Love Choir formed in September 2018 and is for people who have experienced homelessness, addiction, mental health issues or who are otherwise marginalised. The choir is hosted by CAIS are is part of Choir With No Name family. This is the first project of its kind in Wales. The choir rehearses on a Wednesday lunchtime and everyone is welcome.
